Biography
I obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May of 2015. Prior to this, I worked internationally with a variety of nonprofits to improve community resources for adolescents and their families and became increasingly passionate about serving individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds. While in the field, I obtained experience working in inpatient and group home settings providing crisis stabilization services.
In 2019, I joined Beach Therapy & Consulting and their Dialectical Behavior Therapy team bringing my training and skills in working with chronically dysregulated adolescents and young adults. I currently co-facilitate the adult skills training group and participate in the consultation team on a weekly basis. I have a special interest in trauma and use cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, and a family systems approach to facilitate change while helping individuals discover and utilize their unique strengths in their personal journey towards growth and healing.
